Role: Executive Director of Clinical Development responsible for advancing Acadia's neuropsychiatric and rare disease programs, focusing on clinical strategy and global trial execution. Responsibilities include creating and implementing development plans, overseeing clinical study design, medical monitoring, data analysis, regulatory interactions, and external stakeholder engagement, with an emphasis on neuroscience and neurology indications. Qualifications: MD or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant experience in clinical practice, research, or industry, with expertise in psychiatric, neurological, or rare disease therapeutics, and a track record in clinical trial phases and regulatory processes. Preferred: experience with CNS disorders such as depression, psychosis, or neurodegeneration, and established relationships with thought leaders in these fields. High-Value: leadership in late-stage development, regulatory submissions, and multi-center trials; cross-functional collaboration; work in a hybrid model based in San Diego, San Francisco, or Princeton with domestic and international travel. Work setup involves office presence three days per week.
