Position Summary
- Design, build, and scale AI-driven forecasting products and decisioning for portfolio planning, brand forecasting, and financial outlook (Demand, Inventory, Gross-to-Net/GTN), owning the end-to-end AI product roadmap (ingestion → development → deployment → monitoring → closed-loop learning) with accuracy, transparency, and explainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own multi-year forecasting AI strategy/roadmap aligned to planning cycles, launches, and KPIs.
- Co-own forecasting products (modules/services/APIs); translate requirements to backlogs/release plans/SLAs; ensure explainability/diagnostics.
- Govern model lifecycle and quality (validation, approvals, monitoring, retraining, drift detection).
- Partner with BI&T on data/architecture/MLOps (pipelines/platforms, orchestration, semantic layers, feature stores) and build interoperable APIs.
- Establish governance, audit trails, privacy/regulatory controls, business rule frameworks, and risk assessments.
- Lead portfolio scenario planning and deliver explainable AI artifacts; institutionalize closed-loop learning.
- Lead adoption with stakeholders and publish forecast quality dashboards.
- Build/lead cross-matrix team and manage vendors/partners; enforce SLAs.
Qualifications (Required/Preferred)
- 12+ years in pharma/healthcare/adjacent with forecasting/planning and AI/ML product management.
- Bachelor’s required; MS/PhD/MBA strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of demand, inventory, GTN/hybrid ecosystems (e.g., GTN in Anaplan) and experience partnering with Finance, Commercial Ops, Market Access, Supply/Inventory, and BI&T.
- Advanced time-series/hierarchical forecasting, causal inference, simulation/optimization, scenario planning; strong Python/R/SQL and BI tools.
