Position Summary
Executive Director, Capital & Facilities Portfolio (Global Technical Services)
- Oversee capital allocation and approval of >$1B annual capital spend, including Board-approved projects.
- Serve as Product Development & Supply (PDS) process owner for capital portfolio management (budgeting, prioritization/allocation, approvals).

Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of BMS capital portfolio across budget and LTFP timelines; ensure integrated, predictable, prudent, value-focused delivery.
- Act as primary business partner for capital portfolio outcomes across business units.
- Partner with Finance and Global Real Estate to deliver business cases, alignment, approvals, allocation, reporting/forecasting.
- Build/manage/optimize global capital management standards and processes across asset lifecycle and governance.
- Drive continuous improvement and transformation.
- Leverage external consultants/outsourced labor/suppliers.
- Directly/indirectly manage multidisciplinary global teams; mentor and lead professional development.
- Ensure compliance and continuous improvement of Global Engineering Governance model/standards and finance requirements.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s (science/engineering/finance/business or related); advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years in life science or adjacent industry.
- Experience managing a global capital portfolio; cross-functional leadership; senior stakeholder management; $400M+ capital budget.
- End-to-end project delivery knowledge; people leadership (direct/indirect) across geographies.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical facilities/operations/engineering best practices (environmental, GMP, safety regulations).
- Matrix transformation experience; strong communication, planning, analysis, problem-solving.
- Discretion with confidential info; Excel/Project/PowerPoint/SAP.
- Travel ~25–50%.

- $257,800–$312,389 (plus eligible incentive cash/stock).
