Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Business Unit POD Organization
- Lead Directors responsible for Analytics and Primary Market Research aligned to the Business Unit
- Build a high-performing, collaborative POD that delivers integrated insights with speed, rigor, and business impact
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Serve as the Strategic Insights Partner to the Business Unit
- Act as the primary analytics and insights advisor to the Business Unit General Manager and leadership team
- Integrate insights across analytics, primary market research, forecasting, value & access, finance, commercial operations, and medical
- Deliver objective, actionable perspectives on growth opportunities, risks, investment decisions, and strategic tradeoffs
- Drive Business Performance and Identify Growth Opportunities
- Identify and monitor leading indicators of brand and portfolio performance to inform decision-making
- Translate complex data into executive-ready insights
- Identify opportunities to improve performance (high-potential healthcare providers, patient segments, patient journey friction)
- Detect leakage in the treatment journey and recommend actions to reduce drop-off and improve patient progression
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure insights drive measurable business outcomes
- Enable Data-Driven Decision Making Through Technology and AI
- Champion automation, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics to accelerate insight generation and decisions
- Leverage modern data platforms and predictive analytics to improve visibility and analytical rigor
- Execute a Scalable Global Delivery Model
- Lead a globally distributed insights workforce across US teams, global capability centers, and strategic partners
- Scale delivery using global hubs (e.g., Portugal) and teams in India
- Ensure governance, quality, and operating models across distributed teams
Basic Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree and 6 years of market research/analytics/competitive intelligence/sales and/or marketing operations experience, OR
- Masterโs degree and 10 years of market research/analytics/competitive intelligence/sales and/or marketing operations experience, OR
- Bachelorโs degree and 12 years of market research/analytics/competitive intelligence/sales and/or marketing operations experience AND
- 6 years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams/projects/programs or directing resource allocation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to influence senior leadership and shape strategic decisions through insights and analytics
- Strategic thinking and biopharmaceutical commercial acumen
- Experience leading insights/analytics/market research organizations supporting multiple brands or therapeutic areas
- Experience integrating market research, analytics, forecasting, and competitive intelligence
- Executive communication and storytelling skills
- Experience building and leading global teams across multiple geographies
- Knowledge of drug development, commercialization, and the healthcare ecosystem (patients, providers, payers)
- Experience leveraging advanced analytics, automation, and AI-enabled insights
- Experience building and developing high-performing teams

- Expected salary range (U.S., excluding Puerto Rico): $275,763.80โ$373,092.20 (actual varies)
