Role: Executive Director of Biostatistics, providing strategic leadership and scientific expertise across multiple therapeutic areas within Vertex's R&D. Responsibilities include driving innovative statistical methodologies, overseeing biometrics processes, supporting clinical development, post-marketing, and real-world evidence studies, and shaping development strategies through advanced trial design. The leader is a key member of the Biostatistics Leadership Team, influencing data operations and analytics, and representing the company externally in scientific forums. Requirements: MS or Ph.D. in Statistics/Biostatistics; 15+ years of experience; proven leadership of high-performing teams; expert in statistical methodologies, industry trends, and innovative trial design. Preferred: strong communication, influence, and executive presence, with agility in learning and change management. High-Value: involvement in complex clinical programs, early to late-phase trials, post-approval studies, and regulatory collaborations. Work Setup: Hybrid or on-site; flexible with up to two days remote per week.
