Provides strategic planning and management for selected projects and departmental initiatives. Directs biostatistics activities for Neurocrine clinical studies from trial design, execution, analysis, and data interpretation. Serves as the subject matter expert and provides leadership to support all clinical studies, regulatory submissions, and publications. Manages the Biostatistics group, including the technical and administrative oversight of the biostatisticians.
Masters degree statistics or similar field preferred and 15+ years experience with Phase 1 through Phase 4 clinical studies and observational studies, and the development of drug development strategies in the pharmaceutical industry setting, particularly the design, analysis and reporting of clinical studies, including innovative and adaptive study designs and advanced statistical analysis methods. Extensive previous leadership experience required OR PhD in statistics, biostatistics or related discipline preferred and 12+ years of similar experience noted above.

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $258,500.00-$374,300.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 35% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
