Executive Director, AI Transformation, Office of the CAIO

Role: Executive Director, AI Transformation, leading enterprise AI initiatives within Labcorp's Office of the CAIO. Responsibilities: oversee AI-native transformations across business domains from concept to adoption, partner with cross-functional leaders to redesign workflows via AI, define roadmaps and investment strategies, establish AI standards and governance, and ensure compliant, scalable AI solutions. Manage organizational change, workforce development, and stakeholder engagement, including senior leadership and regulatory partners. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 15+ years in technology, digital, AI, or enterprise transformation, including 5+ years leading large-scale transformation programs and deep operational experience in healthcare, clinical, or biopharma settings. Preferred: advanced degrees (MBA, CS, Data Science), with 5+ years in highly regulated industries, and experience working with executive teams and establishing AI governance frameworks. High-value: expertise in modern AI architectures (generative AI, knowledge systems, safety), experience with enterprise AI platforms, and familiarity with regulated environments (healthcare, diagnostics, life sciences). Travel: 40-50%. Location: Durham, NC, hybrid work setup.
