Executive Director, Agentic Lab and Architecture Lead - Remote

Role: The Executive Director, Agentic Lab and Architecture Lead, oversees the design, validation, and deployment of enterprise agentic AI capabilities within a biopharma or regulated environment. Objectives include establishing scalable, secure AI architectures, leading innovation in agentic technologies, and ensuring responsible AI practices. Responsibilities encompass defining technical standards, leading prototyping and validation efforts, building reusable architectures and accelerators, transitioning validated prototypes into enterprise-scale solutions, and embedding Responsible AI, security, and governance from inception. The role also involves technical leadership, stakeholder communication, and talent development. Qualifications: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field; 12+ years in enterprise software or AI architecture, with deep expertise in LLMs, multi-agent systems, orchestration, data management, and cloud-native deployment; proven experience in scalable, governed AI platform development and enterprise standards. Preferred skills include experience with AI platforms in regulated sectors such as pharma or healthcare, familiarity with tools like Azure AI Foundry, LangChain, GraphRAG, and leadership influencing senior stakeholders. The position requires approximately 10%+ travel, is remote-based in the U.S., and involves collaboration with cross-functional teams including AI engineering, security, and business units. High-value specifics include focus on responsible AI, enterprise AI architectures, and integration within regulated life sciences or healthcare environments.
