Position Summary
The Executive Associate, Drug Development Strategy provides administrative and operational support to the VP, Drug Development Strategy, and some support to the ED, Portfolio Implementation & Reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage complex, evolving calendars; anticipate conflicts; optimize time for key priorities.
- Make real-time scheduling decisions with minimal guidance.
- Coordinate domestic/international travel and manage expense reporting.
- Plan and execute meetings (logistics, scheduling, materials).
- Prepare leadership agendas, pre-reads, and supporting materials.
- Track follow-ups and help drive execution.
- Support Workday, IT requests, and expense/budget inquiries.
- Maintain proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
- Anticipate needs/issues early; act independently or escalate with context and solutions.
- Partner across a matrixed organization; provide concise updates and recommendations.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative environment; support broader team needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required; college coursework/degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years administrative experience required (corporate experience strongly preferred).
- Experience supporting senior leaders in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Strong organization; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Independent, proactive, strong judgment under time pressure.
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
- High discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
