Position Summary
The Executive Associate, Drug Development Strategy provides administrative and operational support to the VP, Drug Development Strategy, and some support to the ED, Portfolio Implementation & Reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively manage complex calendars; anticipate conflicts; optimize time.
- Make real-time scheduling decisions with minimal guidance.
- Coordinate domestic/international travel and manage expense reporting.
- Plan and execute meetings (logistics, scheduling, materials).
- Prepare agendas, pre-reads, and supporting materials to ensure leadership readiness.
- Track follow-ups and help drive execution.
- Support Workday, IT requests, and expense/budget inquiries.
- Maintain proficiency in internal systems (e.g., SharePoint, Microsoft Teams).
- Anticipate needs/issues early; act independently or escalate with context and solutions.
- Partner across a matrixed organization; engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Communicate clearly and proactively; provide concise updates and recommendations.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative administrative environment and support broader team needs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required; college coursework or completed degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years administrative experience required; corporate experience strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting senior leaders in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills; manage multiple priorities.
- Independent, proactive, and able to anticipate needs.
- Strong judgment/decision-making under time pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
