Role Summary
Executive Assessment Strategy Leader, based in New Brunswick, NJ. This strategic role oversees the organization's executive assessment strategy, combining expertise in assessment methodologies, talent development, and consulting to identify and develop top-level leaders to achieve global business objectives. The role partners with BUHR, Talent Directors, Executive Recruiting, and business leaders to provide insights that inform talent practices and movement.
Responsibilities
- Senior Leader Consulting:
- Lead a comprehensive, integrated executive assessment strategy that supports executive hiring, individual development, workforce development, and organizational capability-building.
- Oversee the use of senior leader assessments and utilize data insights to inform talent decisions.
- Serve as a trusted partner to HR and business leaders in order to shape how we use assessment insights to make decisions.
- Influence, consult, and advise senior leaders in order to help support business objectives with talent insights.
- Assessment & Data-Driven Insights:
- Influence the use of assessment tools across the talent lifecycle, ensuring accessibility, inclusivity, and alignment with business needs.
- Oversee validation studies and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of assessments and skills programs.
- Liaise with Talent Intelligence, People Analytics, and external vendor partners to conduct analyses to understand talent insights and make connections with assessment data and other relevant people data.
- Aggregate and interpret data to provide storytelling insights to HR and senior leaders to guide strategic decisions.
- Translate assessment insights to decision makers and managers to make more informed talent decisions.
- Innovation & Best Practices:
- Stay abreast of industry trends, psychometric best practices, and legal regulations in assessment and skills measurement.
- Research and present best practices internally and externally to continuously enhance strategy.
- Cross-Functional Partnership:
- Collaborate and consult with Talent Management, HR Business Partners, Executive Talent Acquisition and business leaders to bring assessment insights into talent discussions and decisions.
- Collaborate with Talent Intelligence and People Analytics to bring insights into talent discussions.
- Influence organizational culture to foster the use of talent insights and data-based talent decision-making.
- Strong vendor relationship management with senior leader assessment vendors.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Masterβs degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field. PhD preferred.
- Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in assessment, talent management, or consulting within a global organization.
- Strong consulting skills, experience advising senior leaders, and the ability to influence without authority.
- Demonstrable expertise in psychometrics and assessment validation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to storytelling from data.
- Business acumen with experience navigating complex, global organizational structures.
- Knowledge of global regulations, compliance, privacy standards related to assessment and skills data.
