Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a cross-geography strategy and execution team to build and implement a long-term, integrated, global commercialization vision and strategy.
- Build strong working relationships with key Gilead markets (G9) and cross-functional partners (Medical Affairs, Global Decision Sciences and Insights, Public Affairs, Government Affairs, Value & Access, Clinical Development, Competitive Intelligence, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs).
- Serve as Commercialization Team Leader for multiple in-line and late stage HIV Treatment products; co-create and implement annual global Indication Strategic Plan(s) and Global Plan(s) of Action that inform country-specific LSPs and PoAs.
- Incorporate market intelligence and commercial perspectives into development evidence generation, publication, and access strategies.
- Oversee development and execution of global campaigns (differentiating strategy, branding, positioning, key messaging) to support sustained product growth.
- Identify, analyze, and translate brand/customer/market insights to solve business problems and build effective marketing plans.
- Lead development of materials for Earnings Calls, Forecasting, LRP, and Global LE Guidance.
- Lead and develop direct reports through coaching, development, and inclusion.
- Work with Gilead Asset Team Leaders (GATLs) and participate in Gilead Asset Teams (GATs) as appropriate to include commercialization insights in treatment asset development.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and 16 years’ experience OR Master’s degree and 14 years’ experience OR PhD and 14 years’ experience.

Preferred Qualifications / Required Skills:
- At least 16 years of relevant commercial leadership experience in biotech/pharma, including global product strategic planning, portfolio/lifecycle brand management, tactical marketing, and new product planning/launches.
- B.A. or B.S. required; MBA and/or advanced life sciences or medical degree preferred.
- Substantial HIV-specific experience and market knowledge.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams with Governmental Affairs, Public Affairs, Medical Affairs, R&D, V&A, GDSI, Legal, and Regulatory partners.
- Demonstrated ability to conceive/develop/implement multi-dimensional marketing and business plans.
- Collaborative, creative, solution-oriented mindset; global market experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence executive decision-makers.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to provide recommendations to senior management.
- Ability to influence/motivate/persuade; facilitator/negotiator/counselor.
- Experience with the development process and relevant inputs.
