Event and Catering Manager (Fort Collins, CO)
Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee brewery events (live music, trivia, bingo, beer releases, private parties, special events); coordinate bands/DJs/vendors/artists/community partners.
- Research trends and develop new event ideas; manage event budgets; handle setup/breakdown; maintain event calendars (Outlook, 7shifts).
- Create promotions/giveaways/prize packages to drive attendance.
- Oversee catering for private events, taproom buyouts, large group reservations, and Honey Hole private dining; grow business via outreach/networking/local sales.
- Serve as main contact for catering inquiries; negotiate contracts; develop menus/packages; coordinate kitchen/bar/service execution.
- Ensure a positive, seamless guest experience; handle client requests/last-minute changes/day-of issues; gather feedback.
- Ensure compliance with alcohol service laws, food safety, occupancy limits, and company policies; manage safety/crowd flow/service timelines/deliveries.
- Track sales/labor/expenses; prepare proposals/invoices/contracts; maintain records.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in events, catering, hospitality, restaurant management (preferred).
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills; multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with clients, vendors, community partners, and internal teams.
- Familiarity with Outlook and 7shifts (preferred); evenings/weekends as needed.
- Ability to stand/move for extended periods and lift/move event/catering supplies.
Compensation
- $56,000–$62,000 annually + 2% commission.
