Key Responsibilities
- Define and enforce development standards for ETL/Data Warehousing.
- Design, code, test, and document reusable objects using Snowflake and IICS.
- Lead full lifecycle Data Warehousing and integration projects from requirements to deployment.
- Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to implement solutions aligned with business needs.
- Optimize infrastructure and reduce data platform costs.
- Implement operational improvements, including processes, controls, and code reviews.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelorβs (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, or Biotechnology; or 4 years of experience as a data architect or related field.
- 4 years of experience in:
- Data integration, data warehousing, cloud-related initiatives, and development/implementation of data solutions
- Writing complex SQL queries
- Partnering with external vendors/implementation partners to optimize service delivery
- Data warehousing, data technologies, and ETL solutions
- End-to-end data engineering and data modeling (design, implementation, testing, deployment, support)
- 3 years of experience in:
- Applying architecture patterns and data integration design principles
- Working in a matrix organization (balancing customer needs and organizational goals)
- Identifying and recommending product/service offerings to meet functional needs
- Executing project delivery and client relationship management
- Preparing data visualizations using Click & PowerBI
