Equipment Maintenance Technician (12 hour rotation, Night Shift)

Role: Provide technical engineering support for manufacturing systems, focusing on equipment optimization, maintenance, upgrades, and compliance within Amgen's biotech production environment. Objectives include ensuring equipment performance, regulatory adherence, and supporting inspection readiness. Responsibilities involve coordinating technical support across engineering, regulatory, quality, and environmental functions; assisting during FDA inspections; executing maintenance activities in compliance with cGMPs and CFRs; troubleshooting equipment issues; maintaining spare parts inventories; and interpreting process and utility plans. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field; 4+ years of technical engineering experience if holding an associate's degree; or 6+ years with a high school diploma/GED. Preferred skills include mechanical repair proficiency, experience with packaging and serialization systems (PLC, vision inspection, Systech), electrical schematic reading, troubleshooting, project management, and communication skills. High-value specifics include supporting manufacturing of biologics within a biotech setting, compliance with FDA and industry standards, and working in a cGMP environment. The role may require working night shifts and supporting non-standard hours.
