Position Summary
- Provide mechanical and automation expertise to support safe, reliable manufacturing.
- Partner with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Facilities, Automation, and EHS to deliver capital projects and day-to-day production support.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot mechanical, instrumentation, and controls on production equipment and peripheral systems.
- Lead design, installation, commissioning, qualification, and continuous improvement for equipment and automation.
- Deliver projects on time, within scope, and compliant with regulations (with cross-functional teams and external contractors).
- Support investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for equipment/process issues.
- Mentor technicians and junior engineers; share best practices and support capability development.
- Maintain equipment lifecycle documentation (FAT, SAT, commissioning records, validation deliverables).

Required Qualifications
- Bachelorโ€™s degree and 5+ yearsโ€™ experience in mechanical, electrical, automation, chemical engineering (or related); or equivalent experience supporting production equipment/automation/controls in a Pharma or Medical Devices regulated environment.
- OR AAS in a technical field (Industrial Automation, Electronics, Robotics) and 10+ yearsโ€™ regulated manufacturing experience.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical/automation on production equipment.
- Experience delivering equipment projects/installations/upgrades from design to handover.

Preferred Qualifications
- Pharmaceutical/biologics/highly regulated industry experience.
- Knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA, MES; wiring/networking/instrumentation familiarity.
- Qualification/validation experience (FAT, SAT, commissioning, testing).
- Computer system validation knowledge and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Contractor/vendor and budget management experience.
- Strong technical documentation and reporting; clear communication with technical and non-technical teams.
- Willingness to work on the shop floor for practical support.

Work Arrangement
- On-site in the United States (no hybrid/remote).
