Role: Environmental Control Laboratory Technician within Pfizer's Quality Assurance team, responsible for sampling, analyzing, and inspecting manufacturing environmental conditions and materials. Responsibilities include routine microbiological and physical environmental monitoring, water and raw material testing, assay performance, data documentation, and supporting continuous improvement projects. Requires adherence to SOPs, aseptic techniques, and regulatory standards (USP, FDA). Qualifications: High School diploma with 6 years' experience, or associate's degree with 4 years, or bachelor's in Science (preferably Chemistry) with 2 years' experience. Skills in microbiology, aseptic practices, and environmental monitoring are essential; laboratory testing and cleanroom gowning experience are preferred. Work environment involves rotating day shifts, with potential for off-shift work, public holidays, and overtime. Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced setting is required. High-value biopharma specifics include focus on pharmaceutical water systems, APIs, and finished products, with compliance to GxP and regulatory standards. The role is on-premise with no travel requirements.
