Responsibilities:
- Provide EHSS subject matter expertise to manufacturing, facilities, and warehouse operations to advance safety and sustainability and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide EHSS leadership across functional areas; support execution of EHSS processes including industrial hygiene, industrial safety, and safe work procedures for hazardous work.
- Conduct trending and analysis of EHSS data; drive continuous safety improvements through incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement safe work procedures and sustained risk control measures.
- Establish and execute risk assessment plans; ensure controls are in place before changes are implemented.
- Conduct routine inspections and Purposeful Presence walks with Manufacturing Leadership Teams to ensure EHSS procedure compliance.
- Analyze key metrics and facilitate EHSS management reviews to drive accountability and prioritize improvements.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Natural Resources, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in the job offered or health and safety related occupation.
- 2 years of experience in: cGMP/regulatory EHSS in manufacturing; conducting EHSS risk assessments and implementing controls; analyzing incident trends; incident investigation/corrective actions and Incident Management Systems; using Safety KPIs for compliance/performance tracking; industrial hygiene program development; EHSS auditing & regulatory compliance.
