Entomology Co-Op

Role: Support entomological research focused on hemipteran insects by designing, conducting, and analyzing complex experiments to study plant-insect interactions and insect physiology. Responsibilities: develop and optimize insect bioassays, troubleshoot technical issues, interpret data, and communicate findings; identify opportunities for process improvements. Requirements: currently enrolled in a master's or Ph.D. program in entomology, plant sciences, molecular biology, or related field; strong knowledge of insect rearing, bioassays, molecular biology, and Omics; experience with insect dissections, transgenic cropping systems, and data analysis; excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
