The Position:
- Act as the authority for safe work permitting for the facility; Subject Matter Expert on Work Permitting Process (Permit Vision)
- Identify and implement CPO process improvements
- Support technical training of other team members (4P qualified)

Essential Functions:
- Monitor Permit Vision for work requests through the permit lifecycle: review/approve/issue permits; review/approve/execute ICCs (LOTO); review/approve Flush & Drain Plans
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Author ICCs and Flush/Drain Plans
- Provide lead direction and support to junior team members
- Recognize work conditions requiring Lockout/Tagout; assess hazardous energy sources
- Implement Lockout/Tagout using documented procedures and approved isolation devices
- Support OSHA Ten Life Safety Rules and Quality/Environmental/EHS compliance
- Continuous process improvement using cLEAN concepts
- Establish/maintain standards and operational procedures for the Central Permit Office
- Use computer programs (Microsoft Office, CMMS/SAP, Permit Vision, Robex, etc.)
- Follow all safety and environmental requirements; other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Required: minimum 5 years relevant experience; or Associate’s degree with minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Knowledge/experience operating or maintaining utilities and/or manufacturing equipment
- Required: experience in regulated environment (FDA, cGMP, OSHA)
- Required: ability to use appropriate PPE including PAPR
- Ability to read/review P&ID, PFD, and electrical schematics
- Strong communication skills; understanding of Safe Work Practices
- Required: experience identifying and isolating hazards (LOTO)

Preferred:
- Willingness to join ERT
- Willingness to participate as Health & Safety Representative (HSR)
