Engineering Technician – Day Shift

Role: Engineering Technician supporting Parenteral Operations at Lilly's NC facility, focusing on equipment setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Pre-Filled Syringe and Isolator systems. Objectives include ensuring equipment uptime, line efficiency, and compliance with GMP standards. Responsibilities encompass performing diagnostics, repairs, and changeovers, collaborating with engineering and production teams, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least 5 years of production maintenance experience, and strong mechanical skills; a technical certification or associate's degree is preferred. Biopharma-specific insights: experience with automated filling systems, GMP, FDA regulations, and working in classified manufacturing environments are highly valued. The role involves cross-functional teamwork, responding to emergencies, and may require travel. Work schedule transitions from training on a standard day shift to a 12-hour shift cycle.
