Technical expert that independently identifies, engineers, and optimizes new data, software, or technology solutions to address critical business needs. Continuously improve existing methods and processes. Read and adapt literature and publicly available information. Demonstrate proficiency across information technology engineering including full-stack development, data warehousing, statistics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and/or technology infrastructure (servers, storage, network connectivity, virtualization/cloud). Develop and maintain modern applications using C#, Python, and React, leveraging AI tools and methodologies to accelerate development and improve business outcomes. Aligned to Information, Software, Data, or Infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Independently design and develop data, software, or technology solutions to answer scientific or business questions.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using C#, Python, React, cloud services, and enterprise integration platforms.
- Demonstrate proficiency across programming, data integration, warehousing, visualization, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Use AI/ML techniques and modern software engineering to improve efficiency, quality, and business value.
- Collaborate with business and scientific stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions per architecture and standards.
- Modify approach as needed, escalate open issues, and keep stakeholders informed.
- Learn new methods/technologies and mentor others.
- Organize and present objectives/progress; contribute to technical publications and presentations.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation; adhere to corporate standards (code of conduct, safety, GxP, data security, SDLC).

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s in CS/IT/Engineering or related + 5 years; or Master’s + 4 years.
- Source control, CI/CD, automated testing, Agile.
- Full-stack experience with C#, Python, React, REST APIs, databases, and cloud.
- Experience applying AI tools/generative AI, ML concepts, and modern software methodologies in enterprise environments.
Preferred:
- Background in chemistry, biology, bioinformatics, pharmaceutical sciences, or other life sciences.
