Operations
Technical expert that will independently identify, engineer, and optimize new data, software, or technology solutions that address critical business needs across LIMS, Automated Lab Testing (e.g., Scitara, Ignition, LabX), and advanced Data & Analytics leveraging AI.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design, operation, and optimization of cloud services supporting LIMS, Automated Lab Testing, and data analytics platforms.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and tune performance for enterprise-scale applications.
- Architect and develop robust, scalable, fault-tolerant cloud-native solutions using REST APIs, microservices, and containerized technologies.
- Create and maintain Agile, test-driven development workflows for regulated (GxP) systems.
- Execute full software development lifecycle: git, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and regional cloud deployments.
- Ensure adherence to corporate/divisional policies for code of conduct, safety, GxP compliance, data security, and SDLC.
- Conduct technology assessments/POCs, especially AI/ML, to enhance quality operations and automate processes.
- Implement security best practices; collaborate with QA, IT, Regulatory, and Business stakeholders.
- Engineer platform-as-a-product solutions with self-service for quality/operations/compliance users.
- Integrate generative AI and analytics for automation and predictive quality monitoring.
- Leverage AWS to deliver high-performance, cost-optimized, reliable solutions for global operations.
Qualifications:
Required:
- BS (5+ yrs) or MS (4+ yrs).
- Hands-on AWS/Azure experience deploying enterprise LIMS and integrations (Scitara, LabX, Ignition, REST APIs).
- Full SDLC experience (git, CI/CD, testing, regional deployments); strong SDLC knowledge (waterfall and agile).
- C#, Java, or modern languages (Python, Node.js); experience configuring .NET frameworks.
- Demonstrated delivery/understanding of AI and analytics.
Preferred:
- PhD in pharma/medical devices/life sciences.
- Excellent English communication.
- Tech evaluations in regulated environments; certifications (AWS a plus).
- Knowledge of GxP/FDA/ISO 9001 and regulatory technology practices.
