Key Objectives/Deliverables
- Project Management: Lead teams to deliver large capital asset programs (at least $50M USD) and/or support workstreams/nodes of larger programs ($200M+). Deliver from conceptual design through operational qualification (cradle to grave), ensuring safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
- Interface/Communication: Work remotely from a regional distance while maintaining effective communication with program leadership, governance, business partners, and stakeholders; facilitate issue resolution and manage scope changes.
- Compliance: Lead/influence project management using Company Policies and Procedures.
- Safety/Environment: Develop and maintain safety and environmental execution plans; ensure compliance from conceptual design through operational verification.
Minimum Requirements
- B.S. in an Engineering field or related to project management.
- 5+ years capital project delivery experience in industrial/manufacturing facilities.
- Willingness to relocate and/or travel outside home state/country.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas.
Additional Preferences
- Experience on projects >$10M; greenfield projects; pharma manufacturing (bulk API, sterile products, secondary packaging, devices).
- GMP manufacturing, LEAN, automation, construction/quality, project controls, engineering disciplines, safety, scheduling.
- Leadership influence, long-distance work with little supervision, strong written/verbal communication, sound judgment.
- Foreign language(s); PE or equivalent; PMP certification; experience working/living outside the U.S.
Additional Information
- Travel required; full relocation required for project duration; onsite role (not remote).
