Engineer - Project Manager - GFD

Role: Project Manager within Lilly's Global Facilities Delivery organization, leading large-capital infrastructure projects (≥$50M) in pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Objectives: deliver assets that enhance capacity, capability, safety, and quality through end-to-end project management from initial concept to operational qualification. Responsibilities: oversee multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and GMP standards, and coordinate stakeholder communication across regions. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field; 5+ years managing capital projects, with experience in pharma manufacturing (API, sterile, packaging). Skills: strong leadership, stakeholder influence, and remote management; proficiency in project controls, GMP, LEAN, automation, and construction quality. Certifications: PE or PMP preferred. High-value: experience with greenfield and brownfield pharma projects over $10M, including GMP manufacturing, lab, or device facilities; willingness to relocate/travel; onsite role with variable travel. Additional: must be authorized to work in the U.S. Full relocation required; multiple levels available based on experience; role involves extensive collaboration with internal teams and external contractors to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
