Key Objectives/Deliverables
- Project Management: Lead teams to deliver capital assets (at least $50M USD) and/or support workstreams/nodes of larger programs ($200M+), safely achieving objectives from conceptual design (Brownfield/Greenfield) through operational qualification (cradle to grave), with safety, cost, schedule, and quality assurance.
- Interface/Communication: Work remotely from a regional distance while maintaining effective communication with program leadership, teams, governance, business partners, and stakeholders; facilitate issue resolution and anticipate scope changes.
- Compliance: Lead/influence a disciplined, structured approach to project management aligned with company policies and procedures.
- Safety/Environment: Develop and maintain safety and environmental execution plans; ensure compliance with safety/environmental policies, procedures, and work rules from conceptual design through operational verification.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering field or related to project management.
- 5+ years capital project delivery experience in industrial or manufacturing facilities.
- Willingness to relocate and/or travel outside home state/country.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas/work authorization.
Additional Preferences
- Projects >$10M; greenfield experience; pharma manufacturing (e.g., Bulk API, sterile products, secondary packaging, devices).
- Experience with GMP, LEAN, automation, construction quality, project controls, engineering disciplines, safety, scheduling.
- Results via people, sound judgment, remote work with little supervision, strong written/verbal communication.
Additional Information
- Travel required; full relocation required for project duration; onsite role (not remote).
