Engineer - Project Engineer-Design Lead

Role: Design Lead within Lilly's Global Facilities Delivery organization, responsible for overseeing the design of capital projects supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing and biotech facilities, including support for supply chain expansion and medical innovation assets. Responsibilities: identify design standards and regulatory requirements, lead design delivery across project phases, coordinate with A/E firms, develop design requirements and schedules, facilitate design decisions, ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, resolve design issues, and support value engineering and verification planning. Requirements: BS in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred), at least 5 years of manufacturing or engineering experience in pharmaceutical or API networks, and U.S. work authorization. Preferred: pharmaceutical process or project engineering experience, strong project management, conflict resolution, influencing skills, and knowledge of capital project delivery, A/E design activities, and Lilly resources. High-Value: capital project design, pharmaceutical manufacturing support, global travel (~25%), international and domestic project phases, potential co-location for C&Q activities.
