Operations
Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing HSE policies and ergonomic practices; participate in audits/JSA/hazard reviews; use required PPE; understand safe operation of equipment.
- Obtain technical expertise of assigned equipment/processes; basic understanding of infrastructure/telecom; understand data flow, S95, MES, SAP and integration with controls; knowledge of Vision, PLC, VFDs; knowledge of data integrity requirements; comprehensive knowledge of asset code/process.
- Understand global/local asset delivery requirements; equipment/process flow documents, critical process parameters, and control strategy; design/user requirements and operational-area processes; customer needs/issues for new/existing control systems.
- Participate in project meetings and C&Q process (prepare asset for PV); ensure design/code/testing align with standards; troubleshoot using control system/electrical data; perform work per cGMPs.
- Monitor/trend data to drive data integrity, process efficiency, and continuous improvements; enforce AQMS and automation change strategy; lead/manage small automation projects.
- Support deviation investigations and implement countermeasures; initiate and implement change controls; act as technical SME and train others.
- Communicate effectively; educate/coach/collaborate with operations/maintenance/engineering; participate in meetings; identify roadblocks; use project management practices; prioritize by business impact; escalate technical/safety/quality issues.

Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Experience supporting GMP production.
- Authorized to work in the US full-time; Lilly does not sponsor visas.

Preferred Skills / Experience
- Pharmaceutical industry experience; experience delivering GMP production assets.
- Computer System Validation experience (desirable).
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills; ability to work safely; basic infrastructure/telecom knowledge.
