Engineer II, Utilities Engineer Small Molecule (Hopewell, NJ)

Role: Engineering support for small molecule GMP manufacturing facility, focusing on utilities, equipment, and facility maintenance to ensure compliance and operational stability. Responsibilities: provide SME input on utilities and systems, support commissioning, qualification, validation, troubleshoot and manage utility equipment, develop technical and operational procedures, collaborate with global engineering and external partners, and support manufacturing operations. Requirements: BS in engineering or related field; 4+ years of GMP environment experience supporting equipment and facilities; strong knowledge of HVAC, water, gases, and utility systems; excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills; experience with GMP documentation, deviation, CAPA, and technical writing. Preferred: knowledge of OE/LEAN methodologies. Qualifications: ability to work independently, in a regulated industrial environment, with physical capacity for gowning and site work. Travel: up to 5% domestically.
