Engineer II, Manufacturing & Processing

Role: Manufacturing & Processing Engineer II supporting Axogen's medical product manufacturing and new product development in Dayton, OH. Objectives: ensure compliant, efficient, and high-quality production, support process improvements, and collaborate on new product launches. Responsibilities: provide technical support for daily manufacturing operations, lead capacity and yield optimization, assist with validations and process enhancements, analyze specifications for equipment feasibility, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with R&D and Quality teams, utilize root cause analysis, and ensure adherence to SOPs and regulatory standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's in Engineering or related field (graduate degree preferred), 2-4 years of industry experience, preferably in regulated environments with tissue engineering or regenerative medicine knowledge, including aseptic processing and tissue preservation methods. Skills: hands-on technical expertise, project management, statistical analysis, and process troubleshooting.
