Engineer Co-Op

Role: Engineering Co-op supporting systems engineering activities in medical device development at Bayer Healthcare's Indianola, PA location. Responsibilities: assist with requirements development, lifecycle engineering, and problem-solving across product stages; collaborate with technical teams in office and lab settings to meet project deadlines and address development challenges. Requirements: current enrollment in a bachelor's or graduate engineering program (Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials Science, Biomedical); completion of sophomore year or higher; able to work 40 hours/week; proficient in MS Office. Preferred: laboratory experience, coursework in medical device development or regulatory affairs, strong analytical, teamwork, and communication skills. High-Value: medical devices, lifecycle engineering, cross-functional collaboration, hands-on problem-solving, development stages from existing products to new innovations. Work setup: hybrid; no explicit travel requirements.
