Role: Automation Engineer supporting Lilly's new Lilly Medicine Foundry, focusing on process automation for GMP manufacturing operations, primarily in biologics or small molecule production. Responsibilities: provide automation support across site operations and capital projects, contribute to control system design, validation, and lifecycle management, troubleshoot control loops and VFDs, participate in design reviews and FATs, and support site compliance and validation efforts. Requirements: B.S. in Engineering or related field, minimum two years' automation experience, preferably in biologics or small molecule manufacturing; familiarity with DeltaV DCS, PLCs, and process control protocols; GMP knowledge. Preferred: experience with SCADA, MES, and greenfield automation projects. High-value: biologics/small molecule manufacturing, GMP environment, automation development and commissioning, control system validation, cross-functional collaboration, and support for manufacturing startup (2025-2028). Location: initial at Indianapolis, permanent at Lebanon, Indiana; travel not specified.
