Role: Process Engineer within Illumina's Manufacturing Technology & Transfer (MTT) group, focused on developing and scaling manufacturing processes for genomic consumables. Responsibilities: collaborate across R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain; design and execute experiments (DOE, CPM); lead process change management and technical investigations; serve as SME for critical process parameters; apply process engineering tools (FMEA, SPC, DFM); lead project teams and facilitate process transfer from development to commercialization in a regulated environment. Requirements: B.S./M.S. in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Materials Science with 2+ years experience in process development, scale-up, and validation; or PhD with relevant experience; excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; familiarity with statistics, SPC, DOE, high-volume manufacturing is advantageous.
