How youβll make an impact:
Desktop Engineer (L3 escalation) for endpoint and user support in a hybrid Microsoft environment; maintain secure, reliable end-user computing. Handle advanced troubleshooting, Intune device management, identity/authentication support, and Windows client diagnostics.
Responsibilities:
- Package/deploy/maintain Win32 apps via Microsoft Intune; build remediation scripts, config profiles, and compliance policies; troubleshoot Autopilot enrollments/ESP/device identity inconsistencies; ensure device hygiene and lifecycle readiness.
- Troubleshoot hybrid identity (Entra ID, Azure AD Connect, device join states); support identity lifecycle; resolve auth failures, directory sync issues, and group-based access concerns.
- Provide advanced support for Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive; diagnose mail flow, permission conflicts, and policy inconsistencies; support M365 Groups lifecycle; assist with cross-service collaboration issues.
- Diagnose OS/driver/performance/profile/Windows Update issues; analyze event logs/telemetry; identify recurring endpoint issues; support imaging/Autopilot health.
- Develop/maintain PowerShell scripts; use JSON/basic Graph API calls; reduce manual work.
- Apply endpoint hardening; triage endpoint security alerts; support incident workflows with Cybersecurity; maintain compliance.
- Troubleshoot DNS/VPN/WiβFi/routing; determine endpoint vs network origin.
- Run OEM hardware diagnostics; coordinate RMAs/warranty and replacements; validate post-repair readiness.
- Act as escalation point for L1/L2; document runbooks/best practices.
Qualifications/Skills:
- 5+ years supporting Windows endpoints in enterprise
- Intune app deployment/policy management/device troubleshooting
- Strong troubleshooting across OS, identity, and Microsoft 365
- PowerShell automation/remediation
- Hybrid Entra ID/Azure AD identity understanding
- Hardware troubleshooting/warranty coordination
- DNS/VPN/WiβFi troubleshooting
- Strong written/verbal communication
Preferred:
- Defender for Endpoint
- Hybrid AD DS + Entra ID background
- Regulated industry exposure (biotech/pharma)
Compensation:
- Anticipated base salary $115,000β$200,000; eligibility for annual bonus, equity participation, and comprehensive benefits.
