Position Summary
The Embedded Caris Operations Manager (ECOM) manages end-to-end operational workflows and case execution for client precision medicine programs, serving as an operational partner to providers and internal teams to ensure accurate, timely case progression from order initiation through report delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned cases, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely progression.
- Review and verify test orders/documentation; resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with providers, clinic staff, pathology teams, and internal teams.
- Monitor case status, implement corrective actions, and proactively resolve issues impacting quality, turnaround time, or provider experience.
- Provide guidance on ordering processes, EMR workflows, and documentation; establish and maintain proactive communication with care teams.
- Educate providers on products/tools, clinical applications, patient selection, and testing indications.
- Support onboarding/training for staff; assist providers with ordering and report understanding within approved scope.
- Reinforce standardized workflows/best practices; coordinate documentation management and report distribution.
- Support billing-related inquiries via internal coordination; track case activity and operational metrics.
- Ensure compliance with policies/SOPs/regulations; maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Identify/escalate risks impacting case integrity, timeliness, provider/patient experience, or patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years healthcare/diagnostics experience
- 3+ years provider-facing or customer-facing experience in clinical environments
- Strong real-time problem-solving/decision-making
- Understanding of clinic-based workflows
- Ability to learn proprietary systems/platforms
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex workflows
- Valid driverβs license
Preferred Qualifications
- Oncology, molecular diagnostics, or precision medicine experience
- Experience supporting physicians; managing end-to-end case workflows
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Knowledge of compliance/regulatory requirements; EMR/clinical systems familiarity
- Strong analytical and communication skills; clinical/office-based environment
- PHI access required
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent cases with high accuracy
Annual Hiring Range
- $70,000β$90,000
