The Electrical Maintenance Technician will maintain, service, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems used in utilities and facilities areas, including lighting systems, power distribution, and motors.
Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on commercial and industrial equipment (e.g., variable frequency drives, motors and controls, power distribution systems, lighting management systems).
- Perform preventive maintenance including infrared scanning and static bonding/grounding.
- Communicate status of ongoing work activities via email, voicemail, and Maximo.
- Work with voltages up to 13,200 (minimum experience with 480 volts).
- Complete all required training (scheduled, computer-based, and per development plan).
- Develop/verify techniques to meet required specifications; assist with job plans and service protocols.
- Ensure GxP and safe work policies/procedures are followed.
- Other duties as assigned by Group Leader, Supervisor, or SR Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and proper hand/measuring tools in an industrial setting.
- HS diploma with 5+ years experience OR Relevant Certificate with 3+ years OR Associate Technical degree with 1+ year.
