Electrical Engineering Co-Op

Role: Electrical Engineering Co-op supporting design, troubleshooting, installation, and startup of electrical and process control systems in a chemical plant environment focused on glyphosate production. Responsibilities: assist in equipment troubleshooting, improve reliability and safety, support system design and startup, develop project scope, ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, perform engineering calculations, aid procurement, and collaborate on process troubleshooting and operational excellence initiatives. Requirements: enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering; completed sophomore year or higher; able to work 40 hours/week; physically capable of climbing stairs/ladders; available for 6-month Co-op in Spring or Fall 2027; willing to work in a chemical plant. Preferred qualifications include a minimum 3.0 GPA and proficiency in Microsoft Office. High-Value: chemical plant environment, process control systems, safety and environmental compliance, operational excellence, and process improvement; based in Luling, Louisiana, with on-site work.
