Primary objectives include ensuring compliance with OSHA, FDA cGMP, EPA, ISO 14001/45001, and other standards, while promoting safety and environmental stewardship. Responsibilities encompass developing and maintaining EHS programs for ISO-classified cleanrooms, managing hazardous materials, conducting risk assessments, and supporting environmental monitoring and contamination control. The role also involves delivering training, preparing emergency response procedures, and ensuring documentation aligns with GMP and regulatory requirements. Qualifications include a bachelorβs degree in EHS, Industrial Hygiene, or related field, with 2β5 years of experience in GMP/regulated environments, ideally within medical device, pharma, or biotech manufacturing. Technical expertise needed covers OSHA regulations, hazardous waste management, cleanroom standards, HVAC/HEPA systems, and chemical hygiene. Key skills include cross-functional collaboration, incident investigation, and effective communication. Preferred certifications are OSHA 30-hour and RCRA/DOT. The position requires work within cleanrooms with gowning protocols, exposure to chemicals, and occasional off-shift support.
