Position Summary:
- Drive demand for BMS medicines in assigned portfolio for appropriate patients through differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) and deeper scientific dialogue consistent with label.
- Serve as primary point of contact for regional thought leaders and community-based physicians/HCPs; liaise with other BMS functions to meet HCP needs timely and scientifically.
- Field-based role: ~100% of time in field with external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote approved indications to meet/exceed assigned sales targets compliantly.
- Create demand by articulating balanced clinical/scientific rationale for appropriate patients.
- Build/maintain scientific expertise; prepare and execute territory/account plans.
- Use tools (e.g., CE^3) to derive insights and inform call plans; provide feedback for improvement.
- Conduct in-office presentations; organize external speaker programs.
- Maintain expertise on emerging data; use Medical on Call for unsolicited questions/technical inquiries.
- Collaborate with field teams; gather/share customer insights; comply with applicable laws/regulations/policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years in pharma/biotech healthcare sales/MSL/HCP/nurse.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately.
- Credibility-building experience with key customers and office staff.
- Account management and proven sales performance meeting/exceeding goals.
- Cross-functional effectiveness; positive, can-do mindset.
Preferred:
- Oncology experience.
