Edison Engineering Development Program

Role: Engineering Development Program (EEDP) participant at GE HealthCare, focused on developing innovative healthcare technologies across diagnostics, imaging, surgical navigation, digital health, and patient monitoring. Responsibilities include completing three 8-month rotational assignments involving product concept, design, and delivery; advancing technical skills through hands-on projects and formal training; and enhancing leadership abilities via structured courses and team involvement. Stakeholders include cross-functional teams in hardware, software, and systems engineering, with mentorship and support from technical leaders. Requirements: recent bachelor’s degree (by July 2027) in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields; proven problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills; willingness to relocate to Waukesha, WI; passion for impactful work. Preferred: GPA ≥ 3.0; prior internships or projects in digital design, medical imaging, patient monitoring, AI, or hardware/software development; experience with CAD, simulation tools, or embedded systems; familiarity with agile, data analytics, or machine learning. Software-focused candidates should have experience in object-oriented programming languages; hardware candidates in mechanical/electrical principles, prototyping, and testing.
