EDC Associate (Veterinary Medicine Research & Development - VMRD)

Role Responsibilities:
- Assist the global electronic data capture (EDC) team with electronic data capture system and administrative tasks supporting global VMRD clinical studies.
- Administration support activities: manage multiple Outlook calendars; maintain internal EDC tracking; perform initiation and archival of EDC studies.
- Maintain EDC system user access for internal/external users (setup, troubleshooting, and ongoing support for study users and clinical staff).
- Initiate and archive EDC studies with accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Support and maintain SharePoint, dashboards, and other shared systems.
- Support EDC-owned hardware maintenance, setup, and shipping (e.g., computers/tablets).
- Assist in building clinical studies in an electronic data capture system.
- Assist in training investigators and other study site personnel on EDC processes and best practices.
- Support study organization and scheduling for EDC studies.
- Serve as a communication link between the EDC team and VMRD groups, study sites, and external EDC companies.
- Collaborate with internal partners to plan, conduct, analyze, and report studies using EDC.
- Provide EDC-related project updates to clinical teams and sub-teams.
- Perform data verification for Medrio studies to ensure data integrity.
- Organize and prepare electronic data for government regulatory submissions; support internal and external audits.
- Create and deliver copies of study data for sites.
- Manage the library of data forms used to capture study data.
- Troubleshoot data and EDC issues with customers through ad-hoc investigations.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications / Experience:
- Clinical study experience.
- Ability to work well with colleagues at all organizational levels.
- Ability to select appropriate communication methods for the situation (e.g., email/phone vs. office visit/Zoom).
- Patience to work through complex issues with colleagues across multiple locations.
- Strong computer technical skills.
