East Area Sales Director (ASD), Solid Tumor Franchise

Responsibilities:
- Drive sales results; motivate and lead the team in a rare, competitive oncology market.
- Directly manage 5 Regional Directors (RDs); execute and implement sales strategies and performance.
- Maintain deep understanding of the oncology market (ALK+NSCLC, mCRC) and stay current on industry trends.
- Partner with Marketing, Patient Value & Access (PVA), Strategic Account Managers, Medical Affairs, and other sales franchises.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize growth.
- Supervise, train, and motivate RDs and Oncology Territory Managers.
- Represent sales on cross-functional Lung Integrated Brand Team meetings.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) focused on people, performance, execution, and growth in priority accounts.
- Identify strategic needs and influence sales programs to meet changing customer/sales organization needs.
- Partner with Head of Sales on sales plans and educational needs; identify market trends/opportunities/threats and align tactics with Brand Lead.
- Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performance sales team; performance manage as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree (Masterโ€™s preferred)
- 10+ years pharmaceutical industry experience
- 5+ years oncology sales management (front line and second line leadership preferred)
- Proven oncology sales leadership across processes (targeting/segmentation, planning, objective setting, training, execution, performance management, reward/recognition)
- Knowledge of applicable healthcare laws/regulations; high science aptitude
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written presentation skills
- Strong oncology business acumen and ability to assimilate complex competitive/market information
- Valid US Driverโ€™s License (good standing)

Preferred:
- Experience with rare oncology disease states; growth mindset; prior marketing/market access/training exposure

Travel: ~25โ€“30%

Comp/Benefits (if applicable): Base salary range $242,400โ€“$333,300; may be eligible for incentives and benefits (e.g., medical/dental/vision, 401(k), disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation/sick time, holidays).
