East Area Sales Director (ASD), Solid Tumor (Oncology)

Responsibilities:
- Drive sales results and motivate/lead the team in a rare, competitive oncology market.
- Directly manage 5 Regional Directors (RDs); execute and implement sales strategies and performance.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the oncology market (including ALK+NSCLC and mCRC) and track industry trends.
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Patient Value & Access (PVA), Strategic Account Managers, Medical Affairs, and other sales franchises.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize growth.
- Supervise, train, and motivate RDs and Oncology Territory Managers.
- Represent sales at cross-functional Lung Integrated Brand Team meetings.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) focused on people, performance, execution, and growth in priority accounts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare laws/regulations.
- Partner with Head of Sales on sales plans and educational needs; identify market/customer trends and threats/opportunities.
- Recruit, retain, develop, and performance manage a high-performance sales team.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree (Masterโ€™s preferred).
- 10+ years pharmaceutical industry experience.
- 5+ years oncology sales management (front line and second line leadership preferred).

Preferred/Desired:
- Experience beyond sales (Marketing, Market Access, Training), national/area roles with major oncology accounts.
- Strong leadership, creative problem solving, team partnership, and healthcare regulatory knowledge.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; oncology business acumen.
- High science aptitude; growth mindset; rare oncology disease state experience preferred.
- Valid US Driverโ€™s License in good standing.

Travel: ~25โ€“30%.

Benefits/Comp (as stated): Base salary range $242,400โ€“$333,300; possible short/long-term incentives; may include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), disability/life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, well-being benefits, up to 80 hours sick time, and up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
