Main Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary liaison between Biologics Manufacturing and support functions including Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, and Finance.
- Manage manufacturing business systems and processes to ensure operational efficiency.
- Support capacity planning and material flow scheduling across manufacturing facilities.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and maintain performance metrics dashboards.
- Provide strategic support to Executive Leadership Team for budgeting and program planning.
- Participate in key management committees and supply review processes.
- Ensure operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations; investigate and correct safety standard deviations.
- Support cGMP compliance and participate in new team member training.
- Attend L1 + QDCI board meetings to gather and report shop floor issues and opportunities.
- Maintain high degree of shop floor presence and participation in focus factory operations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Physics, Material Sciences, or related field with 5+ years in manufacturing operations in a regulated environment.
- OR Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with preferably manufacturing operations/regulatory environment experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and oral presentation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP/Material Resource Planning (MRP), scheduling, and data analysis.
- Robust problem-solving; proactive, hands-on approach.
- Ability to analyze issues from diverse perspectives (safety, compliance, maintenance, automation, equipment, process, people).
- Strong communication (written/verbal), self-starter with continuous learning; strong leadership and technical expertise.
- Ability to communicate transversally across biologics manufacturing boundaries; act independently as voice of the biologics team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing, military, engineering, or science.
Special Working Conditions:
- Lift up to 50 lbs; stand ~8 hours/shift; gown and enter manufacturing areas.
- May require flexing to other platforms/departments and working weekends/holidays/off shift; may include aseptic processing area.
