Role Summary

As a Dryer Operator (Nights) at Perrigo, you will provide dryer support by preparing and cleaning dryers and associated production equipment and monitor the operation of production equipment under supervision. This is a full-time, non-exempt role on a 12-hour night shift from 6pm to 6am ET on a 2-2-3 biweekly schedule (Week A: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat; Week B: Sun, Wed, Thurs) based in Milton, VT. The incumbent will need to complete 3–4 months of training on the Day Shift (6am-6pm ET) before transitioning to Nights.

Responsibilities

  • Stork Dryer System
    • Support CIP of the Dryer and Evaporator
    • Clean all Associated Equipment and Lines
    • Trouble Shoot Problems
    • Performs In-Process Testing on Product as needed
  • Marriott Walker Dryer System
    • Support CIP the Dryer and Evaporator
    • Clean all Associated Lines and Equipment
    • Trouble Shoots Problems
    • Performs In-Process Testing on Product as needed
  • Agglomerator System
    • Clean all Associated Lines and Equipment
    • Trouble Shoots Problems
    • Performs In-Process Testing on Product as needed
  • Other Duties As Assigned
    • Area Cleaning
    • Dryer Floor Assistance
    • Rework Assistance
    • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend written instructions.
  • Ability to perform duties in a safe, efficient and sanitary manner.
  • Ability to operate and navigate computer and various systems & applications.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Additional Requirements

  • This position requires bending, stooping, and repetitive lifting up to 55 lbs. Occasional push/pull of 70 lbs. Standing, walking for 10+ hours of shift.
  • Incumbent will be exposed to noise, cold temperatures (40°), warm temperatures (110°), strenuous physical activity, working at heights and/or in confined spaces.
  • Candidate must be able to wear all required and necessary safety equipment and garments.
  • Work from ladders, scaffolding and staging is required.
