Driver, CDL-A (Transfer)

Role: CDL A Transfer/Flex Driver responsible for transporting research products, biological materials, and animals between facilities and customer sites. Objectives include ensuring safe, timely deliveries, compliance with DOT, animal welfare, and biosecurity standards, and supporting operational flexibility. Responsibilities encompass operating heavy commercial vehicles, route coverage, accurate paperwork, vehicle inspections, and customer service. Travel may include extended overnight trips across the country, and driving a variety of vehicle types from Class A tractors to vans. Requirements: Valid CDL Class A license, clean driving record, minimum 2 years of driving experience preferred, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, and familiarity with DOT regulations, GPS, and routing. Preferred skills include strong organizational, communication, and safety compliance, with capability to work flexible schedules and travel up to 3 weeks.
