      Role Summary
This role is responsible for experiment execution in downstream biologics process development. This will include equipment setup, maintenance, processing, and data acquisition in a laboratory setting. Technical report authoring and lab notebook recordkeeping are also critical to this role. A successful candidate will exhibit strong interpersonal skills, technical competence, and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
- Scale-down and range finding study execution
- Purification by FPLC of Pilot scale batches
- Implementation of multiple liquid chromatography types (i.e Affinity, Ion Exchange, HIC)
- Buffer formulation, resin selection and capacity study execution
- Filter loading and fouling study execution
- Intermediate stability analysis
- Formulation and stability study support
- Protein characterization by A280, SEC, SDS-PAGE and cIEF
- Statistical data analysis
- Equipment setup, functional verification and maintenance
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a biology, chemistry, chemical engineering, bioengineering, molecular biology or related program
- Familiar with protein biochemistry
- Familiar with general biology lab techniques
- Familiar with statistical analysis and experimental design
- Technical and scientific writing and presentation skills
