Downstream Process Development Co-Op

Role: Support downstream biologics process development through experimental execution, focusing on purification, buffer formulation, and stability studies. Responsibilities include executing scale-down and range-finding studies, performing protein purification via FPLC, implementing various chromatography techniques (Affinity, Ion Exchange, HIC), and conducting related analytical assessments (A280, SEC, SDS-PAGE, cIEF). Additional tasks involve equipment setup, maintenance, data acquisition, and technical report writing. Qualifications: Enrolled in a biology, chemistry, chemical engineering, or related program; familiarity with protein biochemistry, lab techniques, statistical analysis, and experimental design; strong technical writing and presentation skills.
