Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a district team of oncology sales representatives to achieve individual and team performance goals.
- Deliver compliant promotional execution and achieve sales growth for the oncology franchise.
- Drive field execution and coordinate with cross-functional partners.
- Build expertise in oncology disease state, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.
- Translate national/brand strategy into actionable local plans and customer engagement tactics.
- Build and maintain relationships with physicians, administrators, IDNs, GPOs, and other decision makers.
- Deliver district performance against sales, market share, and execution objectives.
- Identify opportunities/barriers/market shifts and develop and execute action plans.
- Manage district budget, resources, and deployment priorities.
- Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelorโs degree.
- 10+ years in biotech, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare commercial roles.
- Oncology sales/account management or related field leadership experience with documented success.
- Experience leading/coaching/developing a sales team.
- Strong business acumen; ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, and influencing skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed environment.
- Ability to drive personal or company vehicle; valid driverโs license; pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
- Must satisfy applicable healthcare industry representative credentialing requirements to access customer facilities.
Preferred
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA).
- Solid tumor oncology experience (lung and ovarian cancer preferred).
- Experience with GPO, IDN, hospital, or specialty account management.
- Experience managing change in a complex commercial environment.
