Role Summary

Lead the East Coast Women's Health district sales team to achieve sales and market-share objectives, develop and execute district strategy, build strong customer relationships, and drive performance through talent development and disciplined operations. Manage budgets and ensure compliance while collaborating with Sales leadership to execute company directives.

Responsibilities

  • The East Coast district includes key markets in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
  • Develop, enhance and increase district sales performance to meet or exceed annual company sales and market share objectives; ensure corporate sales and marketing direction is executed within the geographic area; implement the district sales strategy through the team.
  • Develop and maintain solid customer relationships with key executives, decision influencers and decision makers; respond to customer needs in a timely and professional manner; conduct account reviews for key customers; monitor product usage and update contract information as required.
  • Provide regular, candid feedback to district sales representatives; identify and address performance gaps; work with the Sales Director and HR on disciplinary actions up to termination.
  • Analyze and evaluate team performance, sales figures, and territory data; track and reinforce measures of sales force effectiveness.
  • Recruit and retain top talent; apply coaching to motivate high performance and accountability; counsel and develop direct reports.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed and uphold high ethical standards in all business contacts.
  • Communicate openly with the Sales Director and direct reports; facilitate sharing of best practices across the district; liaise with home office and district to identify and resolve issues.
  • Assess organizational change management needs and apply tools to manage change impact for successful implementation.
  • Foster a high-performing, development-focused team environment; balance long-term strategic vision with immediate results.
  • Exercise fiscal control on allocated operating budgets; align with regional directives for marketing and standards and cascade to sales teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelorโ€™s degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales management experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Required: Demonstrated leadership, motivation and management skills.
  • Preferred: Prior successful pharmaceutical or healthcare sales management District Manager experience, medical devices, or other healthcare products sales experience.
  • Required: Ability to travel 60-70% (overnight travel).
  • Required: Must reside in district geography.
  • Required: Must possess a valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record; authorization and ability to drive a company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.
  • Required: Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English.
